Ohhhhh reference

A while back (more like a couple of years) I was surfing the net and I came apon some website that had a bunch of retro Marvel Comic images. (I will try to find the website again & list the images on my FFFfound site). I copied them to my home computer and thought nothing of it.




About year ago I came across them when I came home for the holidays and my mom told me to get my junk off the computer.

I’ve always found the X-men characters appealling because even as a little girl I have been in love with the way they were drawn.... And the storyline was sweet too.

I’ve found when people see my illustrations they tend to use these words:
1. beautiful
2. retro feel (in a good way)
3. pin-up
4. Glamour
5. pretty girls
6. Sketchy
7. Line work based
8. Egon Schiele

So i guess me being drawn to these images shouldn’t be a surprise.

I definitely think these have been a point of reference to me lately.
